I took the fabrication class and had a amazing experience, the training was very professional and very good, the instructors are so helpful with everything in the classroom and in the welding booth. The results that I got from start to finish were amazing!!

I very highly recommend going to American Welding Academy to anyone who is thinking about a career in welding, all of the instructors are super knowledgeable about anything that has to do with welding. All the instructors want is for you to put in the time and effort and they will give you all their time and effort to help you become the best welder you can be. Also you get more hand on learning than doing paper work.

I graduated from AWA on 1/21/2021 and was working by 1/22/21. All thanks to the amazing instructors and staff my dreams in the welding field have been possible. while going to school and being able to have 1 on 1 time with 3 instructors and welding atleast 7 hours a day, you truly become very skilled. AWA has been the best experience and best decision I have made in life and weather your going to take the pipe course or fabrication, even if your just an at home in the shop welder I would highly recommend American welding academy!

Growing up I had always wanted to learn how to weld, but never pursued it because it’s not a girls profession. I decided in April to go to the open house at @americanweldingacademy and something inside me told me that I had to go to this school! To say it was the best decision in my life is an understatement! These last 3 months have been life changing. I went from not have any idea on how to even turn a welding machine on, to being very good at what I do! I couldn’t have done it without my amazing, patient, understanding and down right hilarious instructor Harrison! I honestly don’t know where I’d be today without this school and all of its instructors! I highly recommend this school to anyone who might be interested in pursuing a career in welding! I went to American Welding Academy in August to start my education and pursue my dream. I spent 5 months at AWA and it went by in a blink of an eye, I miss that place already. AWA is a professional pipe welding school that treats you like family. The people and teachers made me feel welcome and comfortable like I was back at home and I loved it. I graduated with 8 AWS and ASME certifications and still finished with 3 weeks to spare and by my side was Adam Holt, Harrison Dye and George Tatum, they helped me from start to finish and to tell you the truth I’m a total different man and welder. I’m starting my welding career with American Boiler & Mechanical within a few days of completing the program, thank you so much American Welding Academy.

My time at American Welding Academy was an overall great experience. I enjoyed learning under Harrison Dye as he was able to share the knowledge and experience that he got while working. The most valuable part of going to American Welding Academy was how readily available help was. If I had a question it would be answered in no less than 10 minutes by one of the 3 instructors. Another part of AWA that I benefited from was how well they set you up for the job search. A month before graduation most of the students had secured a job or an interview in a field they desired or sought out. I can’t say enough good things about my time spent at AWA.
